Active Listening

 Just a Reflection

Active listening as the psychologists have introduced could be used in various dimensions. It works extremely well if applied in interpersonal and intrapersonal relationships.  

Everyday stresses feel like life-or-death threats. We can easily manage them by befriending our nervous system. Its our own human biology that moulds our experiences of feeling safe and connected.

To move away from self-criticism to self- compassion 

1)Take a deep breath! It will relax your body.

2)Identify the feeling ( Use a phrase such as "This is stress" or "This is painful)."

3)Remind yourself of common humanity. Tell yourself, "Suffering is part of life" Or "Everyone feels this way sometimes."

4) Rest your hands on you heart. You can adopt any other comforting pose, and say" May I be compassionate to myself" OR " May I have patience and strength."

5)I can cope up this stress!!
